Watermark Aggravation - want on one page only
How do I place a watermark, only on one page?
Repeatedly, I created a watermark, but it kept showing up, on every page. Also, is there a way to position the watermark other than leave it automatically located exactly at the middle of the page? I would like to show the watermark (faded image) higher up (at top margin) and then have 2 columns of text, below it. In addition, is there a way to control the fading? Please reply. - William647 Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 11-14-2019 at 01:34 PM. Reason: Change title to give better info about question and mark as solved |

Watermarks, in Word, are images in the header/footer layer of the document.
You could create the watermark, go into the header for editing, select and cut the watermark, and then go back into the document layer and paste it in the document layer of one page, setting wrapping to behind text. |

Q: "...then go back into the document layer and paste it in the document layer of one page, setting wrapping to behind text."
A: I took the watermark pic, changed the brightness to 60%, inserted it on the page and moved it to behind text. This seemed convoluted, but it worked. Thanks! - William647 |
