Auto-populating certain text on a Word doc
I have a Word doc that I send to suppliers. Each time I make an order, I have to edit the figures in multiple areas. It could be price, quantity for x, quantity for y etc.
Currently, I go through the document, editing the numbers as I go. But some numbers like quantity are repeated in several areas on the doc. It would be so much nicer if I could just enter the data in a popup box or similar, and then these 5 or 6 bits of data I enter are then placed in the right areas. Any idea on how best to do this? Does it involve VBA? (I know some programming). |

It depends on how many and whether the document needs to be used in Word 97-2003.

It is just for personal use and I am using Office365. I print out the doc and send the supplier a pdf version.
