Manual Page Breaks Not Showing In Office 365 (2016)
I've just been (forcibly..lol) upgraded to Office 365. I like to work in Print Layout and in previous versions, manual page/section breaks would show up if I had the Show/Hide button activated. In this version, however, the breaks do not show. If I go to Draft view, they are there, but in Print Layout, they are not. I've Googled this and have followed the instructions that pledge to correct this, but nothing has worked so far.
Could anyone help with ideas? Thank you! |

Could you post a sample document that is giving you the problem, perhaps with a screenshot or two?
How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum. |

In Print Layout view, with nonprinting marks displayed, you should definitely see manual page breaks. Like Charles, I suggest that you upload a screen shot that illustrates what you see.

Here's a screenshot of it in Print Layout view:
As you can see from the table and the date at the top of the page, there are nonprinting marks showing, yet there's no break displaying. This screenshot is in Draft view: As with the first, the nonprinting marks are showing, but in this view, the break is there. Thanks for the help! |

Breaks are always easier to spot in Draft view.
In the Word 97–2003 (*.doc) file format, a section break added after a table row is almost invisible, unless you are using Draft view. See the screen shot which includes a table whose first row ends in a continuous section break. The break splits the table but it is almost impossible to tell.

Is the table floating? If it is set for text wrapping and it isn't transparent then the break could be appearing behind it in Print View.
Does it become visible if you convert the table to text? You could try putting a paragraph mark in between the table and the section break (while in draft view).
