I'm trying to get Word to capitalize the first word of every sentence. It worked for me in previous versions of Word but not in Word 2016.
Here's an example. I have the following text that I have pasted from another documents: attention to file opening issues attention to opinion review attention to international relationships I'm trying to get the "a" in all the "attentions" to automatically capitalize after being spell checked. It doesn't. I've enabled the following: FILE > OPTIONS > ADVANCED > AUTOCORRECTION OPTIONS ..."Capitalize first letter of sentences" is checked. I've added and removed periods at the end of each line. I know I can highlight all the text and then go to "Change Case" and choose "Sentence case" and that works, but I'm trying to get Spell Check to do it for me automatically like it used to in my older version of Word. Thank you. |
