Repeated values in Microsoft Word

Hi

I write reports where I need to ensure that the price quoted is the same throughout the entire document. For example:

Page 5: The total procurement value of Windows 2010 for this project is $100,000.


Page 10: Conclusion - Total procurement value: $100,000

This causes a great amount of anxiety as I need to ensure that the price quoted on one page is the same as the other pages where the price is quoted.

Are there any functions in Word that allows you to type a value once and repeat this value throughout the entire document?

If you can add Add-Ins to your system, I strongly recommend using Greg Maxey's free utility Custom Content Control Insert Dialog. It makes mapped content controls the optional default and has other nice features. Once you install it, it is even easier than the Document Property Content Controls and much more flexible.
