Default Formatting in mapped controls replicated

Followup question re content controls. I've set up the content control using Greg Maxley's utility, but I'm let with a formatting issue. I have controls in both the header (9 point font)

and the body (11 point).

When the text replicates from one to the other, it retains the formatting from where it was entered. So If I enter text in the body (11 pt), when it replicates to the header, it stays in 11 point, even though the box is formatted for 9 point.

How do I get the content control to maintain the correct formatting?

thanks
