How can I remove these lines?
I’ve just purchased version 16.29. of Word from my old 2011 version. Each time I open a new document or open an existing document, the paragraphs appear within a "box" as if it were a table. [see attachment] Can anyone explain how to get rid of the lines between paragraphs? Many thanks! Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 10-07-2019 at 06:06 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

These are "text boundaries." Previously they looked like margins, they were changed with Word 2016 on the Mac (2013 in Windows).

Very many thanks, Charles.
Problem solved! I guess I've been so used to my old Word 2011 opening files without revealing the text boundaries I'd forgotten about this option. Thanks again |

You may have even been displaying them in 2011. They look a lot different in the newer versions (see previous link).
