How to create an insert in the middle of a document?
I'm working on my graduation thesis in Art History and rather than having the images of the artworks next to the text, I'd like to insert some pages in the middle of the document with separate data sheets for each artwork with the full picture and a nice table detailing facts like author, date of production etc.
How can I do this without interrupting the flow of the document? |

If you do not want them on separate pages, you could put them inside a Text Box or a single-cell table (Insert > Text Box) and set the wrapping to go around the text box/table.

You can put the images in a separate section and change the page numbering (for the next section).
However, doing so will affect the text flow in the sense that text can't "flow past" a section in the middle of a document and continue in a later section.
