The “spelling and grammar” check fails to work as the number of words in the file exceeds a certain number,

I observed that the spelling and grammar check fails to work as the number of words in the file exceeds a certain number.
What could be the issue here?
Is this a limitation on Word?

Older versions of Word turned off spell and grammar check when the number of errors exceeded a certain number. There was also a message stating that there were too many errors.

Recent versions of Word do not have that limitation.

I’m using the latest version, nevertheless, the issue is there.

What other settings in need to consider?

I'm not sure your Word is up-to-date. I am showing Version 1908, not 1808.
That is not the issue, here, though.

Is your document in compatibility mode?
Assume, for the moment, that there is such a limit. If so, you can work around it by spell-checking excerpts from your document.

In the future, please crop or shrink your images. Very wide images makes posts difficult to read.
