Separate footer in Word 2013 for each page while having page numbers
Hello and apologies if this is a very basic question.
I am editing a large document (~300 letter size pages) which includes one or more pictures that are inserted in each page. The document right now is meant for print, but the desire is to have it as an e-book, after the printed document is revised. I have page numbers in each footer, but I want separate text footers in each page, unique to that page. The initial task is to have the document printed out as hard copy, but the final task is to have it published as an e-book preserving the printed format as closely as possible. First, can I have a Word document that can have continual page numbers and unique text footers for each page? Second, could I please have pointers to convert a formatted Word 2013 document into an e-book preserving the Word format as closely as possible? Thank you. |

Look into the StyleRef Field. I think it will do what you want without a bunch of extra footers and thus section breaks.

Thank for your reply. There is a lot of information in your link, it will take a while for me to read it.
I thought it would be much simpler! |
