Word page orientation changes not affecting printed document

Hi all, first time posting here but looking forward to getting involved in the forum.

I'm having problems with Word page orientation - can anyone help? Here are the details:

Portrait Word document
Final page is landscape
Save as pdf and all is good
When printing, the landscape page is done as portrait, squashed up horizontally across the page

If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

Your problem is in printing from Word, correct?
That the pdf is OK tells me that the problem is almost certainly in your printer driver.
