how can I get a formatting style from one document to another. Cutting and pasting does NOT work. I am using 2003

I found this Official Microsoft Forum which gives a detailed description of all the available formatting options.

Customize or create new styles - Office Support

  1. It is a support page, not a forum.
  2. The linked article tells how to do what the title says. It does not tell how to get a style from one document to another.
  3. Also, it is for ribbon versions of Word, not for Word 2003, which has a different interface.
