Word 2010
When I return to a Word document after alt+tab, the insertion point is multiple pages up. I have to find where I left off in the document. Does anyone know why this would be happening? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance. |

Shift+F5 should take you to the last editing point, I believe.

As far as I know, Word will return to where you last clicked, not to where you stopped reading. If that's what's happening, click onscreen before Alt-Tabbing.

I notice it the most when there are multiple screen clips.

Images in Word, if not "in-line with text" are anchored to certain places in the document, not necessarily easily observed. You will return to the anchor point.
