Default How to edit columns and move the right column more to the left?

Hey guys. I am writing my CV with 2 columns so I can fit everything in one page. How do I narrow the empty space in the middle between the 2 columns? Picture for reference [here](Imgur: The magic of the Internet)

Thanks for the help!

Use the precedent set by Microsoft for its CV formats and employ a two column borderless table.

Try going into Page Layout > Columns > More Columns > Spacing > Reduce in size > OK
This closes the gap, but equalizes the column widths. You may not want that to happen.
If you un-check Equal column width, you can change the column widths and as before, change the Spacing to suit your needs.
As suggested above by gmayor, the table option may be more suitable/manageable.

As Graham suggested, you should be using a two-column table rather than newspaper columns for this.
