Configuration repeating
I use MS Office 2007 on my Windows 10 laptop. All of the applications work great except Word. When I begin Word, it starts up the MS Office configuration process. When it completes, Word works normally. I have run the Repair option from the disc with the same result. I run Word on my Windows 10 desktop without any problem. I have used the three allowed installs so I've been reluctant to try uninstalling/reinstalling. I'll appreciate any suggestions.

Re-installing will not make any difference. See Use different Word versions together and the section 'Hacking the registry' which demonstrates how to stop the re-registration.

Thanks - I appreciate your reply - unfortunately your solution requires technical skills beyond my pay grade.

If you cannot follow simple illustrated instructions, then try merging the content of the attached zip with your registry.
