cannot move UP imported Word spreadsheet...?
I made a quite large Word spreadsheet (about 100 lines) and tried to copy (paste) it into my global Word file... no problem, BU T... now I have a large gap between the preceeding image and the copied sheet that I can't reduce !
When I click in that gap I see paragraph sings for every return line... that I can delete one by one but nothing moves ! PLEASE, what can I do ? How can I close the gap ? Thanks a lot ! |

1. Delete all the spaces between postcards and table except for one.
2. right click table - select "table properties" 3. click positioning on the "table" tab. 4. uncheck the "Allow overlap" 5. check the "Move with text" box. 6. press "ok" on the table positioning window 7. press "ok" on the table properties window. |

The sample above doesn't have any example of different line sizes. Attach a sample document.

Check that the table isn't set to limit the row height.
1. Highlight the entire table 2. right click table - select "table properties" 3. click "Row" tab. 4. if the "specify height" box is checked then make sure the "Row height is" is not set to "exactly". Set it to "At least" |

You should also check that there is no "space before" or space after"
1. select the table 2. on the home tab - click the icon that has the up and down arrows with horizontal lines beside them. 3. select "line spacing options" - a window will open 4. under "spacing" use the up and down arrows to make sure "Before" and "After" are set to "0 pt" |

Thank you so much once again @kilroy; I finally managed to personnalize my tables by setting my row height to Exactly and to enter line by line the desired number of height points...
... for now I am a happy man ! |

sorry @kilroy, but here I am back again with another a layout problem...
line spacing ...? in the attachment you can see that I tried to set line space between two text lines (where is written 7777...) Unfortunately the line spacing does NOT follow the text (777) font SIZE... how can I archieve this ? Thanks a lot ! |

If you're referring to the line that is "FFFFF" you highlight the line and under the font section of the home tab you enter "10" so it's the same size. Or if you want all text the same size select all text (CTRL+A) and do the same.

Yes ofcourse I can change size of the fonts but doing so I would like that line spacing for that line change accordingly and this doesn't ..?!

Tip: if you like the font settings that are in a line or paragraph place your cursor in that line or paragraph and press ctrl+shift+c, now select the line or paragraph you want to change and press ctrl+shift+v.
