Tops of words missing in tables
Hi there,
I'm a proof-reader working on a document for a client, and there's something going on with her tables which I've not seen before and can't solve. The top halves of several words/figures in the table are missing - see attached screenshot. She said that she works in Scrivener and then transfers her work into Word, which might have something to do with it. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried deleting some of the extraneous looking returns and spaces above the impacted words, but with no luck. All help gratefully received. Johanna Last edited by Johanna; 06-14-2019 at 07:30 AM. If you attach a small sample word doc we can probably help you.

Thanks Kilroy - see attached. I've anonymised this a bit so I'm not sharing clients' work online.

Highlight the table and then set the paragraph spacing to "1.0"
Was this table created by using word to open a PDF? |

Thank you! The spacing was actually already set to single, but moving it to 1.5 worked, with a bit of fiddling around.
The table was constructed in Scrivener and moved into Word - does that answer your question? |
