Advance page numbering
Let's say I have a 30 page document as follows
Page1: Cover page (1 page) - no page numbering Page2-11: Main (10 pages) Page 12-21: Exhibit A (10 pages) Page 22-26: Exhibit B (5 pages) Page 26-30: Appendix (4 pages) When you get to Exhibit A, first page, the header would read "Exhibit A Page 1 of 10" the footer would read "Page 12 of 30". The footer would be on all pages except for cover. I've tried this multiple ways with Layout > Page Break > Next page and then setting the page code based on Page or Section, but at times I'll get a numbering conflict, and then page numbering will reset (footer) anytime I create a new section. Does anyone have a template they've created that closely resembles what I'm trying to accomplish? |
