Calculating Age in Years
Hi everyone,
How can I calculate an individuals age in years in Microsoft Word 365? Currently I'm trying to recreate Macropod's work from over a decade ago using formfields (Ctrl + F9). Unfortunately, I've hit a couple roadblocks that I think may be due to changes in Microsoft Word that have come out since the initial guidance was released. My assumption of the problem is that I'm not appropriately bookmarking fields, that I'm also not telling Word to Calculate on Exit, and my own ignorance. I've attached a generic document to show the references I'm using, and what I'm seeing. My desired end goal is that users will be able to type in an individual's DOB, and then have their age calculated in years based on the present date. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. |

Since you apparently want to use formfields, use a formfield with the BirthDate bookmark for the DOB input.
