I think Moonshine has answered your question. The answer is to not worry about them.
If, with Word closed, you see a bunch of these, feel free to delete them. I would definitely leave the option turned on to see hidden and system files. See the section on "Orphaned Temporary Files" on Graham Mayor's page: What to do when Word crashes I periodically search my hard drive for these and delete them. |
