Default Printing with a coloured background

I need to produce a poster type of document with text and photos on a coloured background - all text and photos look fine, but I can't work out how to have a coloured background, the only option i can see is for a watermark.

All I need to do is to produce a printed document with a pale yellow background.
Any advice please?

Many thanks in advance
Pete

I only have Word 97 but this method works for me: load your poster and make sure drawing toolbar is visible: using the drawing toolbar select and draw a rectangle to fill the entire page right to all edges. This will cover up your text and images. Now right click on the rectangle and under Order choose Send behind text. Now right click on it again - Format Autoshape then Colours and Lines - under Fill select your colour (you can also have interesting two colour fill effects), under Lines select No lines (otherwise you will have a border). Hope this helps

If you have any basic graphics editing software it should be easy enough to work with layers and change the main background color to whatever you like. It shouldn't be too hard to learn the skills that you would need to do this. In any case, you can always try the more direct way of simply printing on yellow paper.
