I am new to office 365, and am used to the first line of my document being inserted automatically as a suggestion for the title on the initial save. I like this feature, but cannot find how to turn it on in 365.
Also, it there a way to set Word to ASK where to save the first time? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 05-04-2019 at 06:41 AM. Reason: Edit title to clarify request |

If you press F12 (or FN+F12 on some keyboards), Word will display the Save As dialog box directly. Assuming that the document hasn't been saved before, the first few words will be suggested as the filename.
On the other hand, if you are resaving an existing document, Word will suggest the location and filename of that existing document, and you will have to type a new name and, optionally, choose a different location.
