How can I get a series of rich text boxes
To duplicate themselves with the data entered in the first (call it the "Master") text field.
I am using Word 2010 / Windows 7. I am using the tools in the Developer tab, the rich text entry box. I am creating a series of forms and I want to place a rich text box on the top of the first page listing a procedure number and revision #. Then I want to add more text fields to other pages in various places. (The forms, once filled out, will be disassembled to distribute different pages to different users. BUT I need to make sure that each user knows and can verify he has the right procedure and revision. It may be possible, even easier to do this in a Header, but getting the text field to duplicate itself would be better. And it suits my Feng Shui. |

If you are OK with plain text content controls, see Repeating Data Using Document Properties Content Controls and Other Mapped Content Controls.
Otherwise, see Mapped Content Controls by Greg Maxey, MVP. I assume you mean "Content Control" and not "Text Box." Jargon can be a real key to getting help. |
