Fillable Form - Mouse Jumping
I have a document that starts as just text and then contains a fillable form at the bottom. The document has to be locked so that only the fillable sections can be edited. When you click anywhere in the text only part of the document - it automatically goes to the first fillable box. This will be a problem if people are reading through the top and happen to click somewhere and then lose their place. Is there any way to fix this while keeping the document restriction to only editing in fillable forms?
Thank you! |

If you're using content controls for the fillable portions, together with the 'No changes (read only)' protection, users can click anywhere in the document without having it scroll to the first/next editable area.

That seemed to work! thanks so much! I may be being too picky but is there anyway to change the yellow highlight that comes with the controlled fillable portions?

However, this does not have a password. Note, however, that these passwords are not strong security. The passwords for restrict editing are easily circumvented. |
