Show track change bar without revisions in print

Hi there,

I am using office 365 and I have a document with activated track change. After all revisions made, I would like to keep the bar to show where the changes are and hide all revisions (deletions). It is important to have this appearance on the published pdf. I tried to change the review settings, but when I print it is still showing bar and deletions.

Is there a way to adjust the setting to do so?

Thank you in advance.

Simply change the tracked deletions text format to hidden.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for your reply. Would you please explain what exactly you mean by "track change delete text format" and where can I find it? I have changed couple of settings which you may see on the attached screenshot, but still can`t hide the deletions. Please see the attached.

Regards,

Your screenshot already shows the deletions are formatted as hidden text. If they're still visible in the document, clicking on the ¶ symbol on the Ribbon's Home tab will usually hide them; otherwise go to File|Options|Display and uncheck the 'hidden text' entry.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for your reply. It worked. I changed the insertion setting into none and now it prints properly.

Thanks again for your time.
