Default Quotation marks.

Hi. Is it possible to replace all the double speech marks (") in a Word document with single speech marks without going through them all individually?

Many thanks,

Steve.

You are welcome.

Replace is also found under Advanced Find on the Navigation Pane.

I recommend:
Shauna Kelly's tutorials are free webpages. The video is not free. Both would make your experience with Word a lot more pleasant. You should be able to sign up for the video for less than $15.00.

Thanks, Charles. I've only just started using Word, as it came free with my university course. Previously I used OpenOffice, which is rather different. So yes, I need a little education. I will look at your links.

Thanks again,

Steve.

Two things.
  1. Every program is different. Even different versions of Word are different, although not as much. The online versions of Office applications are much less comprehensive. Compare Word features on different platforms - Office Support
  2. Before you lose your university free version at the end of your schooling, you may want to get the discount version that you can get as long as you have an .edu address. It gives you four years for less than $100.00.

That's all excellent advice, and I'll definitely be going for the discount option if it's still available by then.

Many thanks again for being so helpful.

Steve.
