Automatic Chapter Numbering
Hi All,
This is my first post. I did a search on this topic, and I didn't find anything that matched precisely what I was looking for. I've created a Word doc template, but my boss has asked me to update it. She wants me to set it up so that chapter numbering automatically populates when she clicks the "Heading 1" style (or something like that, I suppose), rather than manually typing out "Chapter 1" or "Chapter 2" for each chapter break. I'm drawing a blank on how to do this--I looked through Help, and I toyed with Word a bit, but the neurons just aren't firing yet this morning. I think she also wants the chapter titles to automatically populate in the Header as well. Any advice would be appreciated. --Rainy |
