can word become protected thru add-ins?
I want to merge or combine word documents, which I have never done before, but when I choose the two documents, it says it can't merge because one is protected. I checked under File>Info about protection and it seems like neither are protected. We use, especially for these documents, PPC add-ins for what's called Smart Practice Aids. can protection that is undisableable come through this means? the file is not read-only. I can edit it via the keyboard. Thanks |

Best way to combine a few documents, in my opinion:
You will have the best results if all of the documents are (1) based on the same template and (2) use the same styles for formatting. |
