I just noticed this today. I was typing up a document and clicked word count and noticed the asian character count.
See attachments otherwise it is here: http://www.beyond-ninja.com/web_images/word.png Anyone know how to get rid of this? I don't remember clicking any option in particular, I think word's just a bit racist ![]() Wuffybrother |

Hello,
what localization of MS Word do you have installed? Maybe you have an asian version which distinguishes between (non)asian characters. Also, you might try to check what kind of custom dictionaries you have installed, maybe there is some asian one. Tools - Options - Spelling and grammar. Other problem might be that you have actually turned on korean/chinese dictionary on some part of your document. Try to select the whole text and apply proper spelling. And if nothing of this will work, let me know. We will solve it for sure. :-) mike |

@wuffy
Hi I don't see why you want to delete your post after 8 years! Care to explain?
