i have a problem.
i used from mailing to make a dictionary. dictionary is ok. for header i used from quick parts>field>styleref>normal to display first word in odd pages...it is ok.
but when i used styleref>normal> search from bottom... in even pages it is not displayed.
odd pages are ok but even pages are without any word word.
of course this problem not belong to odd or even . because in one page styleref>normal is ok but styleref>normal>search from bottom is not visible.
i think this is refer to searach from bottom !!


please help me

If you edit the field code to search from the bottom of the page you just add the switch \l
{StyleRef MyStyleName \l}

the field code is ok. when i used alt+f9 ...the filed code appera in the header but not visible any word there. on the other hand code is correct and exist there but nothing visible

If the styleref field is showing nothing then it is because the very last paragraph on that page is empty. Have a close look at the content on the page and verify that there are no empty paragraphs at the end.

Andrew is pointing out that the last paragraph in the target style on the page is likely an empty paragraph. That may or may not be the last paragraph on the page. The StyleRef field is then showing you the content of the last paragraph in the target style.
