![]() While using MS Word 2003, I have a problem in one file in generating a Table of Contents. I go into "Insert", "Reference", "Index and Tables", "Table of Contents" and finally "Options" I then select the "Available Styles TOC Level e.g. 1 through 3. Then I click on OK. A TOC is generated, but some (not all) of the available styles are usually listed. I go back into the Options button and most of the TOC levels are not listed with a number i.e. they are now blank. (Sometimes all the various levels are listed in the TOC, but this is unusual.) What am I doing/not doing to make the TOC Level Options "Permanent" Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you ahead of time. Roger |
