My Word 2013 Template has changed drastically

Recently I edited a document that was in a format designed for an eBook. Now every time I open a document it changes to match this format. The pages are shrinking and sticking together. The margins, even though I set them, do not change. I opened an MLA template I attached a screenshot of what happened:

Make sure that the document is displayed in Print Layout view (View tab | Print Layout).

Also, ensure that you display the so-called white space between pages (see http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/WhiteSpace.htm).
