Hi gang, thanks for considering the following...
Can you batch edit a specific text within MS Word 2007's 'Insert Hyperlink' Address field? e.g. if the Address field contains blah%20November.docx, can a command be run to change all similar hyperlinks within the same document, even if other syntax varies? Thanks again |

Apologies as I wish to provide more detail on the above scenario. In my case, I have renamed Doc A (containing bookmarks) and Doc B hyperlinks to those bookmarks. I am hoping to batch change all hyperlinks in Doc B to identify that change i.e. Doc A title now contains 'December' whereas it previously read 'November'.

You can edit hyperlinks via Find/Replace. Simply press Alt-F9 to expose field codes in the document, then use Find/Replace to change whichever part of the hyperlink needs it. After you're done, press Alt-F9 again, then Ctrl-A, F9 to update the actual hyperlinks. Do note that this will not affect the hyperlink display text, which is independent of the actual hyperlinks and cannot be changed via Find/Replace.
