Margin Error ???
Not sure what title to give this.
When I open a new blank document, the cursor is position right at the top of the page, and I mean RIGHT at the top. But when I do File / Page Setup / Margins.... then it shows 2.54 cm as top margin. My view is Print Layout 75% How can I get the gap at the top again, as it always used to be there. Thx. |

Hi, i think i might know what is going on:
If you place your cursor at the very top of the white page it should change into two arrows facing each other in boxes and a box should come up saying "show white spaces". You have to get the cursor right at the top of the "paper" for this to happen. Then all you have to do is left-click and it should be the way you want it. Hope this helps. |

Wow, yes that solves it.
I didn't know that option existed, and indeed it is a very delicate operation as there is not much more 'white space' above the default cursor. Thank you very much. |
