TOC ignoring "front matter"
Hello,
I have a document that is broken into 3 sections. The first section is the title page and the copyright page. The next section is the abstract, TOC, list of figures and list of tables. The next section is the Chapters. The TOC only lists the chapters, but not the abstract or list of figures or tables. I noticed that when I added the first two sections (I had to add them because of the differing requirements for page number formats) that the navigation pane stopped listing the front matter. I am not sure if that is related. How can I make the TOC see the Abstract and List of figs/tables? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 01-22-2019 at 06:21 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

You will have to apply the appropriate heading styles to the paragraphs you want to add to the TOC.
