For whatever reason, no matter what I do, I cannot seem to delete whatever it is that is on this page. Because if this, there is an empty page that I cannot get rid of. This is on my resume so it does not look good. Any suggestions? I followed a template that was posted for my resume.

If you mean the '¤'symbols, they're a table's end-of-cell or end-of-row marker. Doubtless, when you click anywhere in that area, Word's 'Table Tools' ribbon displays. You can delete the unwanted content via Table Tools>Layout>Delete, then choosing 'Delete Rows' or 'Delete Table', as appropriate.

Thank you, I cleared the stuff in the Header and the Footer but it seems to be the thing in the middle of the page

Perhaps your table is in the page header?

There is nothing to delete

Clearly, there is. You have a table that is in either the document body or the page header (most likely the latter).

Things that appear in and take up space in the middle of the page can be in a Header or Footer. This is often done when constructing Letterhead.


Turn on display of the non-printing formatting characters and table gridlines (in one of the Table Tools tabs).
