Hi. I am trying to create labels using Office 2019. I am looking on the internet for labels. all have different part numbers. I remember word having a corresponding list. Office 2019 doesn't.
I have a drop down box with 2 x 1/2, 2 x 1/4 2 x 30 pages then it goes into 2 x A3 (landscape). Everything in the drop down list is doubled up. There is no labels per sheet list like 8,10 ,16 etc. No part numbers. |

Okay. I have been able to get labels Avery A4 L7656. The problem is you can type as many lines in the box than will fit on a label. It appears to remove the extra lines. What would have been nice is if you got to look at a preview. Also if you could center the text and choose a font.
I can work around this though. Also. I can,t save the text for the labels. I have to type it all again. It would be beter if I could save it all for future. |

If you create a new document from the labels dialog, it should be painfully obvious how much text you can type in a label - especially a small label like the L7656. You can edit that document with regard to font selection and alignment and you can save it. You can also use it as the basis of a template for http://www.gmayor.com/Envelope_Label_Add_In.htm or for mail merge.

Assuming you want each label to have the same address, after you input the address in the address field, select it all > Right click > Font > Change as reqd (you can type a smaller size font size manually should you need to as that label size is small).
Clicking the New Document tab then opens your label sheet. Select each Column > Use the Left Indent showing in the last column you selected and position all addresses as reqd. View the labels via Print Preview > Print (with label sheet in the tray) or return back to label page for additional editing. ![]() |
