Default How Pin docs in Word 2002

OS Win 7 64bit

Office 2002

Years ago I pined documents all the time. My old pinned list is still there but now that I am back to writing again and need that self same option I'm embarrassed that I can't remember how to do it.

My program is so old the online advice all post dates my system.

Creating a new doc or an older one and clicking Save from the File menu or the Save icon I get the Save As window where I can park it but no pin option.

If I open Word from the start button it displays all my old pinned docs but no option to pin a new document.

If I right click the Word icon on the task bar it again displays the old pinned list and all open docs along with the option to "unpin this program from task bar," but not how to pin a new document.

Yup, I feel like an idiot but if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
