Stop Word from displaying {HYPERLINK "mailto:my_email@provider.com"} in Print Layout View
Using Word 7, Windows 7.
My document (saved as .docx) displayed correctly for months (it's one I use all the time) but tonight it is displaying things differently. Links in the document are showing up as... {HYPERLINK "mailto:my_email@provider.com"} instead of just showing up as my_email@provider.com I've tried looking at the document in different views (full screen reading, outline, web layout, draft) the only times it looks correct is when I use Full Screen Reading or Print Preview. All old and any new documents have the same issue. Please help me get things back to normal! EDIT: I FOUND THE ANSWER!! Somehow 'Show Field Codes' got selected in the Advanced Options. Removing the checkmark put things back to normal. Thank you for reading... Last edited by Stargehzer; 11-17-2018 at 05:14 PM. Reason: I found the answer! |
