Default Completely Uninstall MSO 2019

I've had major problems with my macros in my Office 2019 for Home and Business since I installed it after clean installing Mac OS High Sierra. I rely on my macros for productivity and can't do without them.

I already used the following link to uninstall MSO 2019 but it didn't fix the problems.

https://support.office.com/en-US/art...d-b73dc1a8cae3

Can someone share a link for COMPLETELY uninstalling Office 2019 for Home (specifically) and Business? I would be very grateful!

I have 60 days of warranty with Microsoft, but they are not honoring that. They keep telling me that because I use macros my issue is a "commercial" one. They want to charge me $500 to even tell me how to perform a clean uninstall.

I have been using Microsoft products since their DOS days. But I've very close to ditching MS and moving to open source products!

There is a similar article at https://support.office.com/en-us/art...5-cba2e14e94c0 which seems to offer more details. Does that help?

Thanks for the more detailed article Stefan! Having used MSO 2019 for a couple months now and worked out most of its problems through experimentation, my observation is that so far all of the problems are by design and not due to a corrupt installation.

The frustrating thing with MSO 2019 is that it's slower than Word 2000 run on Windows 98!

I will bookmark your article for future reference. Thanks again!

Thanks for the follow-up.

Note that you should start separate threads and describe the particular issues you have encountered with Word. Reinstalling Office isn't necessarily the best solution to common issues.
