I moved a file from an older PC via CD to my Windows 7 PC.
I have the file on my desktop, but do not know how to convert to a Microsoft Office Word (2007) document. Probably easy but not discovered by me, help! When I attempt "Recover Text from any File", I get (c:\User\Bob\Church\Constitution\), not a valid file. |

Correction:
The file conversion should have read: (C:\Users\Bob\Desktop\Church\, constitution is a file within the folder (Church). |

What you appear to have on the desktop is not a file but a shortcut to a folder.
