Styles and not applying correctly
I have been asked to troubleshoot a report using our company's Auto TOC Report 2017.dotx. We also use company set styles. The template applied is located on their drive which I don't have access to. It seems the styles are corrupt as they are not applying correctly (misaligned paragraphs, Section # not generating). I have tried reloading the documents from the template which I saved to my system, but they still are not applying properly. Any suggestions instead of saving as .TXT and starting from beginning reapplying styles? I tried saving as an .RTF with the same results. |

Ctrl-A then Ctrl-Space then Ctrl-Q
This will remove all local formatting and style the content exactly as per the paragraph style definitions. Saving to txt is a last resort only and a document would have to have very serious corruptions before I would go that far.
