Default How do I lock an editable text box header and stop it moving with the rest of the main body text?

Hi everyone
I have a report header at the top of my page, I can't put it in headers n footers because I need the user to be able to change it on each page - at the moment it anchors itself to the body text and moves with it. Basically is there any way to stop this so the text flows between the pages without affecting the header?

Any help would be much appreciated, am on mac os word 2013.

Jim

In that case, your users need to learn how to use Section breaks, so the content can be put in the header; that's what headers and Section breaks are for.

Insert a 'Next page' Section break at the end of the 'Executive Summary', then access the header in the following page and unlink it from the previous Section's header. You can move one copy of your textbox into the header of the document's first page, as well as delete the other copies of that textbox.

This is no more than intermediate-level Word document construction. For lots of useful information, see:

Learn to use the StyleRef Field so you can simply have one "header" that reflects the contents of the pages dynamically.
