Hello,
I recently purchased the Office 2010 suite. Instead of updating my existing Office 2003, I opted to install 2010 in addition to 2003. I use Word to create the header banners for my website by using the print screen button, pasting into paint and saving as a PNG file. I know, a weird way to do graphics, but I'm no Photoshop wiz. Anyway, I opened the 2003 Word document that I have saved with the pre-made banners in Word 2010, typed in the text I already had a banner for and hit print screen. I pasted it to paint and saved a PNG like normal. However, when I compared the new banner to the banner I created using Word 2003, the graphics and text were ever so slightly off. Now this might not seem like a big deal, but I would like EVERY banner to appear uniform as it is in the same area of the page. A shift in graphics and text is quite noticeable. Is there any way to ensure the exact formatting carries over from Word 2003 to Word 2010? I really do like the new Word and it would plain suck to have to keep 2003 installed just for this purpose. I really don't want to create all new banners in Word 2010 either...there are hundreds that I would have to redo. Thanks for your help! |
