Changing color of instructional text in a content control box
Hi all,
I am using Word 2016 for Business for making a form with rich text boxes. I am looking for a way to change the color of the instructional text within the entry box. The default grey is hard to distinguish from the general black text of the document itself. Anyone have a way of accomplishing this? Thanks in advance! |

The default style applied to content controls is called "Placeholder Text". You will need to modify the style attributes of this style.
Because that style is typically set to "Always Hidden", show your Styles Pane and then click on the Manage Styles button to find and modify that style.
