Message: the margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page.
I am using Word 2007 on a Windows 10 64 bit computer. This is a new problem for me. I am working on a document and noticed this problem when I selected print preview. Part of the document was missing. I've checked all the settings in the document the orientation, the margins (which are well within the capability of my printers), and the page size. All appeared to be correct. I have two printers, a Brother and an Epson. I've made sure that they are set up correctly for the document. When I tried print with either printer, I get the above message.I've tried rebooting the computer and restarting both printers. I've also copied the text in the problem document and pasted it into a new document. None of this solves the problem. I don't know what section 1 that the message refers to is. It is almost as though there are some hidden margin settings buried in the document. Can someone suggest a fix? Thanks Jim Birke |

Without seeing the actual document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

So, does this mean your 'margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area' problem is solved?

No. It means I'm going to take this problem to Mozilla. If I find an answer there, I'll forward it here.

Perhaps you would care to explain what the connection is between Mozilla and a Word document with margins set outside the printable area? I fail to see one.

Oops. you're right no connection. What do you need from me to get back on track? On 8/6/2018 I sent a copy of the error message. I'm not sure it was complete.

Perhaps supply the attachment as per post #2. The error message you posted (post #3) - which I've edited for privacy and to eliminate loads of unreadable MIME code - concerns an undeliverable email message and has nothing to do with a Word document that has margins set outside the printable area.
