I have 20 groups of characters. Each group looks like the one below and they have order numbers.

⮿ ⏺ ⏺ ⮿ ⏺ ⏺ ⮿

what I need is to set them in two or more columns so for example number one group is in the first row on the left. Number two group is in the first row on the right. Number three group is in the second row on the left. Number four group is in the second row on the right.

Why not use a two-column table?

How do I move already existing group of characters into a table with proper assigning them places?

All groups are in one column now and I need the proper order I mensioned.

Besides there are over 200 groups of characters I need them to be spaced automatically, not by hand

You need to be more exacting in your specifications.
What you show in your reply to me is very different from what you showed originally.


Try putting together a two column table and doing a couple of your groups as a sample.
Post the resulting document here.
