Default A Table of Contents that Will Dictate the Content of the File

Hi,

For work I am required to create a standardized file that will enable some of our project managers to quickly create users manual for our products.
These user manuals are comprised of some standard documentation and some documentation that is only used for a few manuals.

What I want to do is to import all of these files into one word file and then create a table of contents that dictated what will be printed.
What is mean is that if they delete something in the table of contents then it will delete the according part of the word file.

Is this even possible?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Cheers,
Devin
