Line arrow impossible to make horizontal
Hello
in Word 2016, I add a "Line arrow" by following process : Inser --> Shape --> Line arrow Then I'm trying to make the arrow horizontal by manually moving its extremity. But it doesn't work .... The only solution I found is : right clic on the arrow --> "Other place position" --> Size --> I enter a numeric value in the line "Rotation" --> OK At that moment, it is possible to adjust manually the extremities of the arrow to get it horizontal. But this process is really too long. Have you got another solution ? |

Hold the shift key while you insert then drag the extremity to produce a horizontal arrow/line.

Hello Gmayor.
Thanks for your answer which give me a solution for a new arrow. But have you got a solution for an existing angulated arrow that I would like to move to horizontal ? Best regards. |

To make a vertical straight line, set the shape width to zero. (Similarly, you can set the shape height to zero to get a horizontal straight line.) See also https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...c-8bc75a644af2.
