I have some old documents that were originally typed single-spaced with a space between paragraphs. Now I want to put these documents into book form, so I've double-space it, but there are still spaces between paragraphs. I'm using word 2004. I've gone online and tried all kinds of things. They say there's supposed to be an arrow at the bottom of the page, but I find no arrow. I went to format and scrolled the space between paragraphs to 0, but the space remains. I just don't know what to do to get rid of the space. Help please.

Please update your profile to indicate your actual Operating System and Word version. Word 2004 runs on Macs, not on PCs.
Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
